General terms and conditions
Article 1 - Applicability
The following terms and conditions apply to every contract concluded between VegaMelts and consumers and between VegaMelts and entrepreneurs purchasing products from our web shop. We do not recognize conflicting conditions or conditions that deviate from our conditions. The language of the agreement is Dutch. This translation is for information purposes only; in the event of any disputes, the Dutch text shall prevail.
Article 2 - Conclusion
(1) The agreement is concluded at the moment of acceptance of the offer by you, the customer.
(2) After completing your details, such as address and payment details, you accept the offer by clicking on the order button. This establishes the contract and you enter into a mutual obligation. The seller is obliged to deliver the goods ordered and you are obliged to make the payment due by means of your chosen payment method.
(3) If you have accepted the offer electronically and thus placed your order, the seller shall confirm receipt of acceptance of the offer by e-mail. As long as you have not received confirmation of receipt of this acceptance (order), you may dissolve the agreement and there is no longer an agreement.
(4) If delivery of the ordered goods is no longer possible, the seller shall inform you of this within the agreed delivery period, at least within the statutory period of 30 days. You have the option to dissolve the agreement free of charge. A different delivery period or delivery of another product can also be agreed.
Article 3 - Storage of order data
Your order with details of the agreement concluded (e.g. type of product, price, etc.) are stored by us. We can send you the general terms and conditions, but you can also consult the terms and conditions on our website at any time. We can also send you the archived agreement.
Article 4 - Corrective reference
You can correct your entered data at any time before placing the order by means of a correction button or the back button in your browser. We will inform you of further correction options during the ordering process. You can also end the ordering process at any time by closing the browser window.
Article 5 - Right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you have a withdrawal period of fourteen working days after receiving the product. This period starts the day after the product is received by you or on your behalf. You can exercise this right by letting us know within this period that you are abandoning the purchase by sending an e-mail to info@vegamelts.com and then returning the product as soon as possible. Only unopened and undamaged packaging can be returned. Refund will be processed within fourteen days.
If we use a special collection service or other type of service, we will inform you separately. There is no right of withdrawal for business buyers.

Article 6 - Rights and obligations
As a consumer, you have a reflection period of fourteen working days after receiving the product. During this period, you as a customer will treat the product and its packaging with care. In addition, we expect an unopened and undamaged product to be returned. If there is damage to the product, we may charge you for this damage or refuse the return in its entirety. You can exercise the right of withdrawal by letting us know that you are exercising the right of withdrawal within the specified period, after which you return the product. You can find our contact details on our website.
No right of withdrawal applies to business buyers.
After a successful revocation, we will, if applicable, refund the amounts paid by you in the form of vouchers within 30 days.
Exceptions
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that spoil or age quickly.
Article 7 - Cost of returns
If you exercise the right of withdrawal as a consumer or business customer, you must pay the costs of returning the products yourself.
Article 8 - Retention of title
We retain ownership of all goods delivered by us until full payment of the price of all goods delivered or to be delivered by us to the customer.
Article 9 - Guarantee and conformity
When you buy a product from us as a consumer, you are always entitled to a good product, provided you use the product normally. If a product does not meet your expectations, we will fully comply with the conformity provisions of the Civil Code towards you. In any case, you should contact us within a reasonable time after the discovery of the defect. Following your report, we will examine whether we can easily repair the defect or replace the product and/or the defective parts. If this is not possible in its entirety or in the short term, we will offer you the option of dissolving the contract. You will then receive (part of) the purchase price back from us.
We have set the warranty on our products for business buyers at 30 days.
Article 10 - Choice of forum
The court in the district under which our (main) place of business falls has jurisdiction in disputes arising from the agreement if you are a professional counter party.
